Extraordinary English Festival 2008.

One of the unforgettable events had been developed at María Auxiliadora High School at three -thirty p.m. on April eleventh. We are talking about The English Festival. Most of the students participated and some members of their family joined them.The event was divided into two stages. The first category was represented by fifth and sixth grade and the second stage was organized according to the teams that reached the final from seventh to eleventh grade.Before starting,the members of the jury recieved the parameter paper and they analyzed it. The parameters that our teams were evaluated in were:

Intonation (20%).

Pronunciation (20%).

Command or Mastery (20%)

Chorography ( 20%).

Self-control ( 10%).

Motivation ( 10%).

Who achieved the highest score was the winner.On the first stage the fifth grade performed Rattlesnake Rap and the sixth grade sang It was great fun.The winner was Fifth grade.On the second category the eighth grade got the victory with the song All of one.Before the English Festival was over,the eleventh students performed an unforgettable song:We are the world and all of them held each other and cried together.

Uno de los inolvidable eventos que se relizan en el colegio María Auxiliado se efecto el día Vierne once de Abril a las tres y treita p.m. Nos referimos al Festival de Inglés. La mayor parte de los estudiantes asistieron al evento, muchos de ellos acompañados por sus familiares. El evento se desarrolló en dos etapas. En la primera categoria participaron los alumnos de Quinto y Sexto grado y la segunda etapa fue organizada de acuerdo con los grupos finalistas de Séptimo a Undécimo grado. Antes de iniciar el festival los miembros del jurado analizaron y se familiarizaron con cada uno de los parámetros en que los equipos iban hacer evaluados. Los parámetros fueron los siguientes:

Entonación 20%

Pronunciación 20%

Dominio 20%

Corografía 20%

Seguridad 10%

Motivación 10%

Quien obtuvo el promedio más alto se coronó campeón.En la primera faceta Quinto grado cantó :Rattlesnake Rap y Sexto grado:It was great fun, siendo ganador Quinto grado.En la segunda categoria Octavo grado se alzó con la victoria.Antes de concluir este magno evento los estudiantes de Undécimo grado cantaron una de la canciones del recuerdo, titulada:"We are the wordl" donde tuvieron la oportunidad de expresar sus sentimientos a traves de abrazos y lágrimas.
